I Do Not Like the Cone of Shame

Yet here I am.

Never fear, darlings, a new post is on its way. As in, is scheduled really and truly for tomorrow (a Tuesday! Wonders never cease!)

I hope you all had a delightful Easter, Passover, or other celebration of Spring-ness. I myself hosted a delightful feast, and now have leftovers enough to last me till August.

In other nerdy news, several of my high school friends were back home for Easter. One of these snazzy friends works for Penguin in NYC.

I was checking Twitter as we chatted, and exclaimed without any context, "Will Grayson, Will Grayson is in the Top 100 on Amazon!"

Then I thought, "Shoot, now I have to explain what that meant. Where to begin?"

But my friend said, "Wait, wait. Are you a nerdfighter?"

And thus a friendship that has existed since the 6th grade reached a new level of awesomeness.

It turns out that my friend worked on the marketing team for WGWG, and read an ARC. "I would totally have sent you one if I'd known!" she said.

So in the future, I will receive ARCs of all John Green novels published by Penguin thanks to my friend on the Inside.
